All of the starters drawn in their premier style/colors/shading.
The most distinct are obviously gen 1 and 2, since they had such a limited color pallette.
3 and 4 are pretty similar, though past 3 they stopped using a few shading techniques, but still kept a fair amount of complexity.
5 was interesting because they kept pretty much just 3 levels of color/shading on each sprite, and they’re all pretty vibrant. Kind of like—- cel-shading, I think. I bet it was because all of the sprites were animated for the first time.
And then 6………….. It is hard to emulate a 3D style that we all only saw about 3 seconds of each monster of. Hahaha. Oh well I tried!!!!!now I want to do more Gen I - II style colorings
