So I went to Hot Topic today.

And I was just standing there awkwardly as the guy was scanning the two shirts I was buying, and nothing was said… And I randomly started talking to him about how he was folding the shirts, and how the way he does it is far more impressive than my own handywork. It amazed me, I made a conversation with some random guy. Yeah, he may not have been gay, but just the fact that I’m taking a step towards talking to a random stranger is exciting to me.

I know, I do it at work, I have to since I work in a grocery store, but that’s different… It’s my job. I’ve just felt inspired by a few people lately to just talk to others.

To name a few, there’s Aurillius, Brenda, and Alexis. These three each seem to flow with a conversation so easily with random people we come across, and it fascinates me. It’s inspired me to become more social in my life, not that I’m not social as it is. XD But even more so.

Besides that, today was fantastic. This week has just been great. I have a new outlook on things, and I just keep finding the positive in my life.

I was randomly walking down the aisle as I was sweeping today, and I just kinda was like “eh, I’m at work… Sigh.” Then, I remembered: my life is awesome. Full of awesome people (friends, coworkers, regulars, teachers, family, etc), full of excitement, and just full of positivity. I can’t help but be happy. I’m keeping my head up, looking to the brighter side of life. I’m trying to not waste a moment on negative energy.

I can’t wait for the new year to begin, I’m gonna be a better, more improved me. <3
